7th Tradition Giving

AA’s 7th Tradition states that “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” If you are an AA member in Woodbridge and would like to donate to District 28, your contribution will support various area events, outreach efforts, and this website.

Whichever method you choose to make your Group’s contribution, always include your Group’s Meeting Name and Number to allow us to track your donation.

NOTE: If neither of the following methods are possible for your Group, the District 28 Treasurer will accept cash donations at the monthly in-person GSR meeting (third Thursday each month – see Events for details). Receipts will be provided.

Preferred Method: Online via your Bank’s Zelle

Go to your personal banking website or mobile app. Determine if your bank offers Zelle (most do). If not, go to the next payment option. Follow these steps to make a payment with Zelle:

  1. Select Zelle
  2. Select Send
  3. Add [email protected] as a recipient
  4. Enter the amount you want to send
  5. Review and confirm the recipient’s information
  6. Select Send

Via U.S. Mail: By Check (preferred), Money Order or Cashier’s Check

In the memo portion write Group Name and Number. Then, make your personal check, money order or cashier’s check payable to Woodbridge District 28.
